Located in the historic train depot at 44 Railroad Street in Falls Village, the Historical Society Museum offers many interesting exhibits. Please visit us! Open Tuesdays 9:00am-12:00 or by appointment
The Historical Society also owns the South Canaan Meetinghouse, 12 Route 63, Falls Village. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is used for lectures, the annual Peddlers Flea Market, and is available for use for weddings and memorial services.
The Historical Society maintains the Beebe Hill Schoolhouse on Beebe Hill Road in Falls Village. It is open for tours during the summer months on Saturday mornings.
The Society owns the New Haven caboose that is a landmark in downtown Falls Village.
The Falls Village - Canaan Historical Society is a non-profit organization committed to the preservation of the architectural heritage of the towns of Canaan and North Canaan.
